The Canopy Project transformed how Banking Managers at Rocket Mortgage interact with and coach their teams. This innovative system enables managers to provide discreet, real-time guidance to bankers during live client calls, significantly improving training effectiveness and increasing closing rates. Leveraging my Arranger strength as Director of Product Design for Enterprise, I coordinated the integration of consumer design principles into enterprise software while simultaneously developing my team’s UI craft capabilities and creating a more intuitive coaching platform.

By recognizing patterns within the legacy system and flexibly allocating resources, I successfully balanced strategic leadership with hands-on design work. This approach enabled us to replace an outdated platform with an experience that freed Banking Managers from excessive system navigation and allowed them to focus on their primary responsibility: providing timely, effective coaching to their teams during critical client interactions.
